Badlands Golf Company

The Badlands is a nine-hole par 3 course on Ira Needles Boulevard in Waterloo, on the site that previously operated as Westhill Meadows, built in 1997. All nine holes are par 3s, totalling about 723 yards, with individual holes running from roughly 68 to 106 yards from a single set of artificial-turf tees. A round takes around 45 minutes and the course is easily walked. It is aimed at beginners and short-game practice as much as at experienced players.
