Sudbury Tee Times

Sudbury is the urban core of the City of Greater Sudbury, a single-tier municipality of about 166,000 people in northeastern Ontario, roughly 390 km north of Toronto and 290 km east of Sault Ste. Marie. The city is built on Canadian Shield rock at the edge of the Sudbury Basin, a landscape of exposed granite outcrops, mixed boreal forest and more than 300 lakes, several of which sit inside the city limits. Golf here runs on a short northern season, typically from early May to mid-October, and the courses in the outlying parts of the municipality are cut into rock ridges and pine stands rather than laid over open farmland.
