Golf course
Baden, Ontario
Foxwood is a 27-hole facility on the gently rolling countryside of Baden, about fifteen minutes west of downtown Waterloo. Three nines — Red, White and Blue — pair up into any of three 18-hole combinations, each playing to a par of 70 at roughly 6,150 to 6,220 yards, so the course rarely feels the same twice. The holes run through mature trees and open farmland rises, with enough variety in length and shape to test better players without overwhelming casual ones. The practice side is unusually good for a public club: a full range, putting green, and dedicated chipping and bunker areas. Foxwood also runs one of the region's better disc golf layouts and has hosted professional events on it.
