About Quadra Island
Quadra Island is the largest and most populated of BC's Discovery Islands, a ten-minute ferry ride from Campbell River across Discovery Passage. Forest, farm and shoreline share the island with a strong Laich-Kwil-Tach cultural presence and some of the best kayaking and tidal-rapids paddling on the coast. Its golf course looks east over the Sutil Channel toward the mainland peaks, and runs a seasonal April-to-October calendar.
