About Sechelt
Sechelt sits on a narrow isthmus on BC's Sunshine Coast, with the Strait of Georgia on one side and the long fjord of Sechelt Inlet on the other. Highway 101 runs straight through town, linking it to Gibsons to the southeast and Pender Harbour to the northwest. It is the largest community on the lower Sunshine Coast and the seat of the shishalh Nation, with a walkable downtown along Cowrie Street and a long public beachfront on Trail Bay. Blue Ocean Golf Club brings 18 holes to the area, cut into the forested slopes above the water a short drive from the town centre.
