About Carlisle
Carlisle is a village in the former Flamborough township, now the rural northwest corner of the City of Hamilton, about 15 km north of Waterdown and a short drive from Burlington and Milton. The crossroads settlement at Carlisle and Centre Roads is surrounded by farmland and woodlots on the tableland above the Niagara Escarpment. It is close-in country golf for the west end of the Greater Toronto Area, with a season that usually runs April to early November.
