Wawa Tee Times

Wawa is a township of about 2,700 on Highway 17 above the eastern shore of Lake Superior, roughly 230 km north of Sault Ste. Marie. It sits between Wawa Lake and the Michipicoten River in rugged Shield country, with Lake Superior Provincial Park immediately to the south and a large steel goose monument at the highway junction. Golf here is a brief northern season, generally from late May to late September.
