Ariss Valley Golf Course — Pines/Willows

Ariss Valley is a 27-hole club on the outskirts of Guelph whose three nines - Pines, Willows and Lakes - are paired into three different 18-hole rounds. The Pines/Willows combination plays to a par of 70 at roughly 6,390 yards from the blue tees, each nine measuring close to 3,200 yards. The Pines runs through heavily wooded ground dotted with large ponds, with a creek crossing several holes, while the Willows moves over a more rolling landscape of trees and ponds that puts a premium on accuracy off the tee. Both nines use the same white sand bunkering as the third nine, the Lakes, which carries the most water of the three.
