Golf course
LaSalle, Ontario
Seven Lakes is a 27-hole public facility in LaSalle, on the southwest edge of Windsor. The Old Course is the original nine, built in 1970 by Robert Williamson and later rebuilt to match the newer championship layout; it is a short nine of roughly 2,000 yards from the back tees, with water on several holes, an island green, and fairways framed by mature oak and sycamore. Its sibling is the 18-hole Championship Course, a Bruce Matthews III design opened in 2003 that plays par 71 at 6,802 yards - a far longer and more demanding test than the Old nine.
