Golf course
Forest, Ontario
Indian Hills opened in 1963 on rolling, wooded land a few kilometres inland from Lake Huron in Lambton Shores. Ross Axford laid out the 18-hole championship course, which measures roughly 6,539 yards to a par of 71 and carries one of the stiffest slope ratings in Lambton County. Ponds and streams come into play on eleven holes and more than fifty bunkers guard the bentgrass greens. Steep changes in elevation give the layout an unusually hilly feel for southwestern Ontario.
