Golf course
Chester, Nova Scotia
Chester Golf Club began in 1914 as a nine-hole course and now plays eighteen on Golf Course Road at Chester, on Nova Scotia's South Shore. It is a par 70 of roughly 6,072 yards from the blue tees, rated 70.9 against a slope of 131, with the white at 69.8 and 130 and the red at 65.6 and 117. The course has been part of the village since before the First World War, and the clubhouse is used as a dining room well beyond the golfing membership.
