The Links at Brunello

The Links at Brunello opened in 2015 to a Thomas McBroom design, built inside a residential community just outside Halifax at Timberlea. It is an eighteen-hole course of par 72 measuring 6,904 yards from the black tees, 6,536 from the blue, 6,065 from the white and 4,750 from the red; the rating of 74.4 and slope of 141 from the blacks was set at a longer 7,089-yard configuration. Despite the name it is a tree-lined parkland layout in a woodland setting rather than a true links, with undulating fairways, marked elevation change, elevated greens, granite outcrops and deep bunkers. The fairways and greens are bentgrass.
