Brooklea Golf Club — Academy 9 Course

The Academy is the short nine at Brooklea, a 27-hole facility on Highway 93 south of Midland. It plays to par 32 over roughly 1,767 yards, a length built around short and mid-irons rather than driver, and the club positions it as a short-game and learning course used alongside its lesson programs. Its sibling, the Championship 18, is a full par-72 layout of 5,540 to 6,610 yards and is rated the strongest course in the Midland area by Golf Ontario. Beginners, juniors and players wanting a quick round are the usual traffic on the Academy nine.
