Horseshoe Valley Club

The Valley course at Horseshoe Resort, north of Barrie, is the resort's original layout and now its only 18-hole course. It plays to par 69 at about 5,559 yards, a short overall number offset by tight, heavily treed corridors and constant elevation change through the valley floor. Curved bunkering and natural ponds sit in the folds of the land, and the par 3s are long for the course's overall length. Reference sources credit the design to Rene Muylaert.
