Golf course
Oro-Medonte, Ontario
The Braestone Club is a semi-private 18-hole course in the hills of Oro-Medonte, on land that has hosted golf since 1975 when it opened as the Orillia Golf & Country Club. It plays to a par of 71 and stretches from roughly 5,800 to about 6,900 yards depending on tee choice. The front nine hugs the perimeter of the property while the back nine turns inward through elevated tees, natural water features and long views over Simcoe County farmland. Extensive rebuilding of greens, fairways and bunkering, plus a new practice facility in 2024, has modernized the course under its current ownership.
