About the course
Family owned and operated since 1962, Shanty Bay Golf Club spreads 27 holes over 272 acres of rolling Oro-Medonte countryside just east of Barrie. The three full-length nines — Frontier (3,291 yards, par 35), Klondike (3,012 yards, par 36) and Rangeland (2,801 yards, par 35) — combine for a different 18 every visit, with 18-hole combinations playing to par 70 or 71. Wide, gently tilted fairways and mature tree lines give it an old-school Simcoe County feel. A practice area, putting greens, pro shop and a licensed restaurant with a patio serve the clubhouse.
