Stone Hill Golf Club

Stonehill, also written Stone Hill, is another of the five courses run under the Golf Sudbury banner, located on Silver Lake Road in Sudbury's south end rather than at the operator's Garson address. It opened in 1995 as an eighteen-hole course playing to par 69, about 5,445 yards from the blue tees and 4,664 from the reds. The land is typical Canadian Shield: sharp elevation change, rock, and natural waterways, with several holes demanding accuracy off the tee more than distance. The short overall yardage and the par-69 card put a premium on wedge play.
