Willow Valley Golf Course

Willow Valley opened in 2000 on open farmland south of Hamilton, designed by Graham Cooke with Darrell Huxham in a links-and-dunes style rather than the tree-lined parkland typical of the area. The par-72 course stretches to about 6,405 yards from the gold tees, rating 72.1 with a slope of 129. Eight ponds, thick fescue rough, mounded fairway edges and tiered greens put a premium on ball-striking, and wind across the exposed site adds another layer. A driving range, putting green and short-game area round out the semi-private facility.
