Valley Ridge Golf Club

Valley Ridge Golf Club lies fifteen minutes west of downtown Calgary, where the Bow River valley cuts down through the ridge, and it has welcomed public play alongside its members since 1980. The front nine runs along the river bottom, cool and wooded, while the back nine climbs into the bluffs and becomes a more exposed, wind-affected test; from the back tees the par-72 layout stretches to 7,026 yards. Elevated tees open long views west toward the foothills, and the elevation changes do most of the defending. Twilight rates make an evening nine here a Calgary staple.
