The Rock Golf Club

The Rock opened in 2004 above the shores of Lake Rosseau at Minett and was Nick Faldo's first course design in Canada, taking Canada's best-new-course honours in its debut season. The par-71 layout runs about 6,649 yards through narrow, tree-lined corridors punctuated by exposed Canadian Shield granite, sharp elevation change and rolling hardwood ridges. Faldo returned to revise the course in 2007, and the property has since had a multi-million dollar refresh. It is widely rated among the most scenic - and most demanding - public courses in Muskoka.
