Golf course
Port Elgin, Ontario
Saugeen Golf Club, founded in 1925 between Port Elgin and Southampton on the Lake Huron shore, has 27 holes split into the Legacy, Sunset and Sunrise nines. This booking plays the Sunset nine first and the Sunrise second, a par-72 round of roughly 6,520 yards from the back tees. Sunset opened in 1957 and measures about 3,323 yards to par 36; Sunrise is the newest of the three, opened in 1995 and redesigned by Graham Cooke in 2008, at par 36 and about 3,199 yards, and is known for undulating greens and water holes. The original nine, Legacy, is a Stanley Thompson design and is not part of this combination.
