Royal Niagara Golf Club — Iron Bridge

Royal Niagara is a 27-hole Ted Baker design in Niagara-on-the-Lake, run by the Kaneff group, with three nines - Escarpment, Iron Bridge and Old Canal - combined into 18-hole rounds. The Iron Bridge nine plays to a par of 36 at about 3,520 yards from the back tees and takes its name from the iron bridge over the Welland Canal that the opening hole crosses. It runs on the ground between the canal, the Niagara Escarpment and the Bruce Trail, with undulating greens and deep bunkering. The Escarpment nine climbs the higher ground and the Old Canal nine follows the older canal cut; the full 27 measures over 7,000 yards from the tips in its longest combinations.
