Golf course
Cobourg, Ontario
Northumberland Valley is a nine-hole course tucked into a wooded valley on Highway 45 north of Cobourg, built around 1970 and formerly known as Larchmere and then Roxburgh Glen. The short layout plays to a par of 30 over nine holes, or par 60 for eighteen, with holes ranging from roughly 126 to 330 yards. Creeks, ponds, mature trees and noticeable elevation change supply most of the defence on a card that is mostly par threes and short par fours. It is an easy walking course that suits beginners, juniors and quick rounds.
