Newcastle Golf Club

Newcastle Golf Course opened in 1966 and has spent close to six decades as one of east Durham's most playable public layouts. The par-70, 6,388-yard track blends classic parkland design with mature trees, water features, and well-placed bunkers — challenging enough to interest stronger players, but friendly to mid-handicap groups. The course is also a regional leader in environmental stewardship, using less water, fertilizer, and pesticide than any similarly sized course in the province.
