Golf course
Port Hope, Ontario
Dalewood opened in 1974 on Dale Road between Port Hope and Cobourg, built after members of the two towns' clubs joined forces on a single 18-hole site. The course was laid out by Canadian architect C.E. "Robbie" Robinson and plays to par 71, ranging from 5,123 yards at the reds to 6,722 at the golds. More than fifty bunkers and three ponds are in play, and Gages Creek crosses eight of the holes. The club has hosted Ontario Junior and Ontario Senior championships.
