Bellmere Winds Golf Resort

Bellmere Winds is an 18-hole course on the north shore of Rice Lake in the Kawarthas, part of a resort property with cottage rentals. It was laid out by Jack Lally and opened in 2006, playing to par 72 at about 6,700 yards from the back tees. The two nines have distinct characters: the front is the tighter, more exposed half, with fescue framing several fairways, while the back nine opens up considerably. The site is elevated and largely treeless in stretches, so the lake is visible from much of the routing and wind is a regular factor.
