Napanee Golf & Country Club

Napanee Golf & Country Club was founded in 1897 and is one of the oldest nine-hole clubs in Canada. The course plays to par 35 and has ten greens and eighteen separate tee decks, so the second circuit plays as a genuinely different nine rather than a repeat, giving an 18-hole round of roughly 5,900 yards. The layout runs over gently rolling ground beside the Napanee River with mature trees framing most holes. Sam Snead played the course in 1959 and shot a 63 that stood as the record for decades.
