Blue Ocean Golf Club

Blue Ocean, the former Sechelt Golf & Country Club, opened in 1992 to a design by the firm of Olson, Beatty and Hnatiuk. It is a par-72 parkland layout with four tee decks stretching from 5,351 to 6,553 yards, built on generous fairways and large, gently contoured greens. Ponds and wetlands come into play on several holes, and openings in the treeline give up views of Porpoise Bay and the snow-capped Coast Mountains beyond. Deer and eagles are routine company, and the Sunshine Coast climate keeps it playable most of the year.
