Windermere Valley Golf Course

Windermere Valley Golf Course is an 18-hole layout that opened in 1988 and plays to a par of 68 at under 5,000 yards, which puts a premium on wedges and putting rather than driver. It sits in a quiet pocket of the Columbia Valley near Lake Windermere, with mature spruce lining most corridors and the Rockies and Purcells visible from the higher tees. The greens are widely regarded as some of the truest in the region, and the short card means a full round rarely takes more than three and a half hours. A pro shop, teaching programs and licensed dining round out an unpretentious, family-friendly club.
