Golf course
Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia
Riverside is Fairmont Hot Springs Resort's signature layout, designed by Bill Newis and opened in 1988. It plays to a par of 71 over roughly 6,507 yards, rated 70.3 with a slope of 136, and its defining feature is the Columbia River, which the routing crosses six separate times. Wetlands, ponds and a fountain-fed lake by the clubhouse add water to most of the closing stretch, while the Rockies and Purcells frame nearly every tee shot. Three sets of tees keep it fair for resort guests without softening it for better players.
