The Oaks of St. George Golf Club

The Oaks of St. George sits on 137 acres of rolling Brant County countryside just outside Paris, where Carolinian woodland and a pair of winding streams shape nearly every hole. Laid out by R.F. Moote & Associates, the par-72 championship course threads fairways between mature oaks and uses the natural grade rather than fighting it, so uneven lies and half-blind approaches are part of the challenge. It has been a Southwestern Ontario favourite for more than two decades and runs as a semi-private club, welcoming daily green-fee play alongside its members. A chipping and putting area, CPGA staff in the pro shop and Mulligan's Bar & Grill round out the day. The overall feel is unhurried and rural — a quiet, tree-lined round rather than a resort spectacle.
