Golf course
Woodstock, Ontario
Sally Creek is a nine-hole John F. Robinson design on the north edge of Woodstock, opened in 2008 and built around the wooded ravine that the creek itself has cut through the property. It measures a little over 3,000 yards to a par of 36, with four tee decks per hole so the same holes can play very differently depending on where you start. Bentgrass greens, tidy bunkering and a handful of ponds keep the strategy honest without making the round a grind. Most golfers play it twice around for a full 18, and the on-site bistro is a genuine part of the draw rather than an afterthought.
