Cobble Hills Golf Club

Cobble Hills spreads across 110 acres of rolling dairy country between London and Woodstock, threading its way through stands of mature pine. The property's defining feature is a 120-foot glacial drumlin that served as a ski hill for generations; the holes that climb and fall across it open onto long views of Oxford County and, on a clear day, London to the southwest. At roughly 5,785 yards and a par of 70 it looks modest on the card, but the elevation swings and tree-lined corridors call for most of the clubs in the bag. Regulars come as much for the putting surfaces, which hold up well through the season, as for the short par-3 17th played from the top of the old ski racing hill. More than fifty years in, it still feels like an unhurried country club that welcomes everyone.
