Fort McMurray Golf Club — Fox Tail / Big River

This is the Fox Tail and Big River eighteen-hole pairing at Fort McMurray Golf Club, the northeastern Alberta club's twenty-seven-hole layout above the Athabasca River. Which two nines pair up changes day to day, so tee times appear on different combinations through the week. The boreal setting gives every hole a wall of spruce and birch. The playing season is short but the daylight is exceptionally long.
