Duntroon Highlands Golf

Duntroon Highlands sits on the Niagara Escarpment southwest of Collingwood, on about 175 acres of rolling hills, woodland and wetland that were once farm fields. The 18-hole course plays to a par of 71 at roughly 5,900 yards from the back tees. The front nine is the more open half, with wide fairways and long views off the escarpment, while the back nine drops into lowland forest and tightens up. Ponds were added to bring water into play on a dozen holes, and the par-4 sixth plays to an elevated green fronted by a grass swale.
