Crimson Ridge Golf Course

Crimson Ridge opened in 2002 as a $5.5-million project laid out by Northern Ontario architect Kevin Holmes across 335 acres of Canadian Shield north of Sault Ste. Marie. The par-72 layout measures roughly 6,800 yards from the tips and threads between granite outcrops, hardwood stands and cascading streams. Elevation change is the defining feature, most famously on the drop-shot 17th that plays over a running creek. The club pairs the course with a full dining room and is regularly ranked among Ontario's better public tracks.
