Cabot Cliffs opened in July 2015 to a design by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw with Dave Axland. It is an eighteen-hole course of par 72 made up of six par 3s, six par 4s and six par 5s, measuring 6,764 yards from the black tees, 6,385 from the green and 6,090 from the silver, with ratings of 74.3/144 and 72.5/142. The clifftop links runs about a mile and a half of coastline north of Inverness, mixing dunes, forested inland ground and cliff holes above the Gulf of St. Lawrence at the mouth of the Margaree River, and the par-3 16th plays along the cliff edge. The course is walking only.
