Spruce Needles Golf Club

Spruce Needles is Timmins' 18-hole course, built on the old Waters Farm in Mountjoy Township along the Mattagami River. The club was chartered in 1959 and opened for play in the fall of 1960 to a Howard Watson design, with later changes attributed to Ian Andrew. It plays to par 72 at 6,626 yards from the black tees, with blue and white sets in between. The season runs roughly mid-April to the end of October.
