Golf course
Prince George, British Columbia
The Prince George Golf & Curling Club has been playing since 1946, an 18-hole par 71 in the middle of northern BC's largest city. Level-to-rolling fairways lined with mature interior spruce and pine give it a classic parkland feel, with strategically placed bunkers and water guarding the greens. Design credit is variously given to Ernest Brown and to Stanley Thompson, a question the club has never fully settled. Golf and curling operate under one roof, making it a year-round fixture in the city.
