Golf course
Hartland, New Brunswick
Covered Bridge Golf & Country Club opened in 1993 to a John F. Robinson design at Hartland. It is an eighteen-hole course of par 72 measuring 6,609 yards from the blue tees, 6,085 from the white and 5,412 from the red, with a rating of 71.3 and slope of 132 from the blues. The routing works substantial elevation into rolling hills rising from the Saint John River valley: a downhill 568-yard par 5 to open, a double dogleg at the 12th, a steep climb at the 15th, a sharp drop at the 16th and an uphill closer, with water at the 7th and 16th. The club nods to Hartland's record-length covered bridge with miniature covered-bridge tee markers and a covered cart bridge near the 17th.
