About the course
Champion Lakes Golf & Country Club is a 2,889-yard, par 36 nine-holer on Highway 3B east of Fruitvale, opened in 1992 to a Boyd Barr design. Its holes play through a narrow forested valley in the West Kootenay, with three small ponds echoing the larger lakes in the provincial park it is named for, plus a pro shop, driving range and the Fairway Fusion restaurant.
