The Mountain Course opened in 2003 as the first collaboration between Jack Nicklaus Sr. and Jack Nicklaus II in Canada, a par-71 layout stretching to 6,810 yards across the dramatic slopes of Mount Finlayson. Tight tree-lined fairways, elevation changes, and panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains and Juan de Fuca Strait define the experience. The course is also notable for its rare bonus "19th hole," an extra par-3 played after the round. Together with the Valley Course, it forms Canada's only 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf.
