Golf course
Hunts Point, Nova Scotia
White Point Golf Club is a nine-hole course on the Atlantic shore at Hunts Point, beside White Point Beach Resort on Nova Scotia's South Shore. Laid out by Donald Ross in 1929, it plays to par 35 at 2,951 yards from the gold tees, 2,791 from the white and 2,695 from the red, and is played twice for an eighteen-hole round. The greens are small, elevated and subtly sloped, the bunkering is strategic rather than penal, and the fairways follow the natural ground. Wind off the ocean is a constant.
