About the course
Whispering Pines is an 18-hole championship course on the west shore of Pine Lake, about 30 km southeast of Red Deer and roughly midway between Calgary and Edmonton. Fairways run through stands of pine and along the water, with an on-site resort, RV park and marina alongside. The lakeside setting makes it as much a summer destination as a golf course.
