Waskesiu Golf Course

Waskesiu Golf Course — the Lobstick — was built in 1935 inside Prince Albert National Park to a design by Stanley Thompson, and remains a member of the Stanley Thompson Society. The routing threads through spruce and jack pine with the architect's characteristic bunkering and green complexes largely intact, and it is widely regarded as the finest classic layout in the province. Its name comes from the lobstick, a tree topped and stripped below the crown as a navigational marker by fur traders and early travellers. Eighteen holes only, with a long booking window.
