Sylvan Lake Golf & Country Club

Sylvan Lake Golf & Country Club sits at the east end of the lake, a short walk from the beach and boardwalk that draw crowds to the resort town all summer. The 18-hole par-72 layout runs through mature poplar and spruce on gently rolling ground, with tree-lined corridors that reward keeping the ball in play more than distance. It is one of the busiest courses in central Alberta on a summer weekend, sitting midway between Calgary and Edmonton and twenty minutes west of Red Deer. Nine- and eighteen-hole rounds are both available, and tee times open five days ahead.
