Founded in 1923 as the Courtenay Golf Club and renamed Sunnydale in 1934, this is one of Vancouver Island's oldest golf clubs and celebrated its centennial in 2023. The 18-hole, par-72 layout was expanded from its original nine holes in 1983, with 45 acres cleared and a full irrigation system installed around a reservoir at the heart of the property. Tree-lined fairways, small quick greens, and a flexible executive-tee option give the course a friendly, traditional character.
