About the course
Founded in 1921 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, Strathmore Golf Club is one of Alberta's older courses and plays to a par of 72 over about 6,785 yards. Gently rolling fairways, deep sandy bunkering, water hazards and mature tree stands give it a championship feel half an hour east of Calgary. It remains one of the busiest public sheets in the Wheatland area.
