Stony Plain Golf Course is a municipally-owned 18-hole public course designed by Norman H. Woods and opened in 1983. The championship layout plays to par 72 at approximately 6,723 yards from the back tees, winding through rolling, tree-framed terrain about 30 minutes west of Edmonton. On-site amenities include a large putting green, a chipping and bunker practice area, and a driving range, all operated directly by the Town of Stony Plain. Honest pricing, reliable conditioning, and a friendly community-course atmosphere have made it a go-to for west-end Edmonton players for decades.
