St. Stephen Golf Club

St. Stephen Golf Club sits on Old Bay Road at St. Stephen, on the New Brunswick side of the border with Calais, Maine. It was started by Clayton VanTassel, the Algonquin's club professional from 1957 to 1985, who bought the land in 1981; the course opened with six holes in 1982 and was finished at eighteen in 1998. It plays to par 72 at 6,146 yards from the white tees, rated 69.1 against a slope of 122, with the red at 5,373 yards and the yellow at 5,197.
